Stretching is an essential aspect of physical fitness. Spend some time stretching after each workout. Stretch all the major muscle groups by holding the stretch for 20-30 seconds. Pay special attention to the areas which you know to be tight.
Scientific research shows that, to improve flexibility, you need to stretch a muscle by holding the stretch for 30 seconds, and by doing 3 reps of each stretch.
